STEP 2 – CREATE YOUR IDEAL HOME PROFILE

  Before you start looking at homes, determine exactly what you are looking for. This sounds simplistic but in fact, few people actually take the time to determine the features that they really want and need in a home. Instead, they begin looking and fall in love with a house- or a neighborhood – and overlook key missing features that negatively impact their enjoyment of their new home for years to come.

  Instead, take the time to thoughtfully fill out our IDEAL HOME PROFILE. This will allow you to identify and prioritize those features you absolutely must have (perhaps a pool, or a three-car garage) and those features that you prefer. As important, you will identify those features that you absolutely must not have (maybe it is a pool, if you have young children). By preparing this information in advance, you create a guide by which to objectively judge each property, minimizing the possibility of a mistake as you become emotionally attached to attractive homes that may not meet your complete criteria.
